Derbyshire based trade specialist, ProTrade Upvc, has continued its expansion with the opening of its new Chesterfield branch.

The third trade counter business within the ProTrade network, Paul Wilkins, Director ProTrade, said that the opening of the new 4,000 sq ft facility, off Whitting Valley Road would increase ProTrade’s geographical reach throughout Derbyshire and beyond.

He said: “There are a lot of fitters and installers working out of Chesterfield so it made sense to go there and be closer to them. It’s also a reflection of the demand that we’re seeing and our growing reputation. Our focus is Derbyshire but we supply far further afield – ultimately wherever our customers want us to go.”

ProTrade Upvc was set up in 2010 in Swadlincote. The company opened its second site in Loughborough four years later. In addition to the investment it’s made in its new Chesterfield site, it will relocate its Swadlincote trade counter to a new 4,500 sq ft facility, this autumn.

Buying in windows and doors from Emplas, since last year Paul said that ProTrade had the right infrastructure in place to support continuing growth.
