Truemans’ Sheffield trade counter has celebrated the move to a new, larger location with an open day event. Customers were invited to stop by for lunch and a sneak peek “behind the scenes”.
The Sheffield team welcomed everyone to the new branch, situated on the same industrial estate as the previous location. The trade counter is fully refurbished and features a brand new showroom designed specifically for installers to use in order to attract more customers.
Ashely Warburton, Truemans group manager, said: “Some of our clients do not have showrooms and, although our marketing support is brilliant at helping to get homeowners interested in their products and services, it certainly helps to be able to show customers what they’re getting beforehand in order to win that order.
“Our new showroom features some of our most popular products – Rehau and Halo windows, uPVC residential doors, a choice of Solidor composites, as well as a great looking Chartwell Green Residence 9 bay window. With no exception, every homeowner visiting the showroom with our clients was impressed.”
One of Sheffield’s bigger customers said: “We don’t currently have a showroom of our own, so it’s great to be able to show customers our windows and doors in a smart, attractive location. It’s important for me to have this facility, as customers don’t always realise the quality of certain products, but the showroom can really help me secure the sale.”
Truemans doubled the space in Sheffield to 6,000 sq. ft. in response to the increasing demand from customers. “The relocation proved auspicious, considering the new unit was already running at full capacity a few weeks after the opening,” said Ashley. “We are now doing approximately 600 frames per week, which comes to show how successful our clients are and how much they benefit from our value added services.”
Ashley added: “We pride ourselves on offering one of the friendliest, and most effective customer services in the industry, 100% of the time, and it’s nice to organise such events when everyone can take a little time out of their busy day to enjoy themselves. The open day was very well received by our clients, and I’m sure everyone loved their goody bag, including the famous Truemans T-shirt, perfect for summer time fittings.”
