The team behind the industry-leading FIT Show is delighted to announce that Rik Henderson is joining the FIT Events team as Sales Executive.
With almost 15 years’ sales experience under his belt, Rik is well accomplished in industry shows, with hands-on experience as both an exhibitor and as part of the organisational team. As Rik explains, he’s looking forward to joining the FIT Show team: “I’m excited to be joining a successful and established team as the award-winning show moves to the UK’s best exhibition venue, the NEC.”
FIT Show Event Director, Nickie West says: “Rik will be joining the FIT Events team in July, along with some other new appointments: Sara Mikunda will be resuming the role of Marketing Manager for FIT 2017 with immediate effect, Jackie Hughes will be responsible for our glittering gala dinner and Sue Boreham will once again be heading up our seminars. Other changes include Client Services Manager Doe Holden, who will be adding more variety to her role for FIT 2017. Doe will be taking an involved role with registration, FIT Awards, student ambassadors and generally working close with me in the run up to and during the show.”
Nickie is also pleased to confirm that Preston-based Motionlab has been reappointed as the creative marketing agency for the show: “Motionlab has been the FIT Show’s lead branding and online marketing partner since the event launched in 2013, and we are delighted to have them on board for 2017 too. We’re excited to share the creative concepts for 2017 with our exhibitors and visitors soon!”
Rik and the team above will be joining familiar FIT Show faces; Chairman Matthew Glover, Managing Director Paul Godwin and Director John Beaty. Area Sales Manager Freya Humphries is the person to contact if you’re interested in taking part in FIT 2017 and Marketing Communications Executive Will Lavin is responsible for handling the FIT Show’s PR output.
The FIT Show will return to a new venue for next year, at Birmingham’s NEC for May 23rd to 25th 2017.
