profine GmbH, the parent group behind the KBE, Kömmerling and Trocal brands, have agreed a 3-year contract to sponsor Germany’s Bundesliga club, 1. FSV Mainz 05.
‘The aim of this commitment is to strengthen our partners in the market through end customer advertising. We have specifically selected our Kömmerling brand to use on the football shirts and increase the high level of familiarity with this brand in Germany. Kömmerling will raise the awareness of building owners and renovators for this brand as a premium window system, and so give our customers that cutting edge over the growing number of cheap providers from Germany and abroad,’ explained Dr Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine.
Since the 2014/2015 Bundesliga season, profine has been a Mainz 05 sponsor for the perimeter and box at Coface Arena, which boasts a capacity of 34,000. But this new full sponsorship agreement has been set up with a minimum duration of three years.

According to Dr Peter Mrosik, FSV Mainz 05 and profine share a great many values. He explained that team spirit, the will to succeed, authenticity, and passionate involvement are the common attributes that proved crucial in the choice of the advertising partner.
Dr Mrosik concluded: ‘After we introduced our best-in-class profile systems such as System 76 last year, our sponsoring of Mainz 05 is part of the next strategic step. We’ll be continuing to strengthen our marketing in future as well, for the long term market success of both our company and our partners.’
