Prefix Systems came away from the FIT Show with literally hundreds of leads as they presented a number of new product innovations for the extended living space market, while celebrating their 20th year in business in what was a true roofing and glazing masterclass.

It was all about new products for Prefix Systems at the show and they came away with 352 qualified enquiries and a further 207 business cards from their champagne prize draw, while literature was presented to stand visitors in the thousands. Ultimately the show proved to be the perfect platform in which to launch their range of WARMroof systems, which as the name suggests are based on the construction standard of ‘warm roof’ design.

On show was a stunning hybrid WARMroof, with fixed triple glazed panels and was supported by the Opus composite window and door system, which harnessed an Obsidian black aluminium exterior, with luxurious real hardwood to the inside. Leading into the central feature through the Opus bi-folding doors was a stunning IX250 ‘warm roof’ Orangery which incorporated an ultraSKY lantern featuring Opus hardwood rafters on the inside and glazed with SMARTGLASS Dynamic, powered by SageGlass. This is an electrochromic switchable glass which is now available in a number of modular lantern sizes in just 7-10 days.

A new to the market Verandah system was also a real eye catcher for many, offering a true period inspired design in a crackle black finish and also available in a more contemporary offering, forming part of the Prefix ‘Outdoor Living’ collection. Elsewhere on the stand was a stunning new URBANroom with aluminium bi-folding doors, a deep section gutter shroud, Loggia posts and internal pelmet, making for the ultimate, high performance modern living space.

The Residence Collection in the form of R7 with square glazing beads supported a premium conservatory offering and further interest in side frame glazing came in the form of a new slimmer sliding door solution from Smart Systems. The Clearview rooflight also added to the range of roofing solutions with key features such as triple glazing as standard, large span capabilities and a unique drainage solution.

Chris Baron and Chris Cooke, co-directors of Prefix Systems commented: ‘The number of leads generated through the show was absolutely mind blowing. We can now boast the widest range of roofing solutions of any company in the UK operating in the extended living space sector and each manufactured with our considerable expertise and skill.’
