National Plastics, UK’s largest trade counter network, has just launched an app to help customers keep up-to-date with the latest offers. Geoff Foster, the company’s Managing Director says: “Many of our customers are out and about for much of the day, but don’t want to miss out on any special offers or promotions. By downloading our app they can get notifications of our latest offers straight to their phone.”

The free National Plastics app is available from Apple’s App Store while Android users can download it via Google Play. As well as details of special offers, the app also has store contact details, a photo gallery of products, a QR scanner and social media links. Users can also make an enquiry directly through the app so they don’t have to wait until they are back in the office.

Geoff comments: “Our customers are busy people. Anything we can do to make their lives easier has got to be a good thing, which is why we developed the app.”

Another example of this approach in practice is in the company’s product range. National Plastics aims to be a one stop shop for building plastics and much more. It stocks a huge variety of products at all price points so there is something for every project, no matter what its scale.

It is clear that National Plastics’ approach of making customers’ lives easier is proving very successful. The company has added £9 million to its turnover in recent years and plans to take its total number of stores to 50 by the end of end of 2017. The app proves the company remains as committed to its approach as ever as it continues to grow.
