Sales in 2013 for Kömmerling were up 25% on the previous year, the clearest indication yet that the market for premium window and door systems is buoyant. Products such as the Lift and Slide PremiDoor that is capable of spans of up to 6 metres with just two sashes and their KBE System 88, which easily meets the standards laid down by Passivhaus demonstrating a premium engineering and design philosophy.

Yet their highly impressive and energy efficient C70 and O70 Gold® window and door systems have been their volume sellers and interestingly there is a near 50:50 split between the chamfered and ovolo designs. The company is also looking forward to announcing further new pan-European product developments at Fensterbau 26-29th March in Nuremburg, Germany with a huge stand and the launch of a new colour concept among other developments.

Kömmerling’s ability to deliver foiled product on time and in full has also been a big plus for their customers in 2013 with typical German efficiency. Within the Kömmerling range are over 40 colours and finishes include White Ash, Cream, Golden Oak, Irish Oak, Rosewood, Chartwell Green, Grey and Black directly from UK stock. In 2013 we experienced a significant rise in sales of our foiled product, vindicating our strategic decision to invest in these additional coloured and woodgrain variants.
