Specialist fabricator, Mercury Glazing Supplies Ltd has confirmed its PVC-u vertical sliding window products now achieve an impressive U-value of just 1.3 W/m² and a WER of A+ as standard delivering exceptional thermal efficiency.

Chris Reeks, Mercury’s Sales and Marketing Director explains: “As a business we pride ourselves on offering our customers the best in energy efficient products and this has now been achieved throughout our PVC-u vertical slider range. Even more impressive is the fact that our new U-value of 1.3 W/m² has been achieved utilising our normal unit make up without the need for specialist gases, showing the quality of the products we manufacture. This improved U-value will become the standard across our PVC-u vertical sliding range giving our customers another added-value benefit.”

Established in 2002, Gloucester’s Mercury Glazing has a well-established reputation for being one of the industry’s most reliable specialist fabricators of PVC-u vertical sliders. Last year it improved its commercial reach even further by becoming the first fabricator to manufacture the new mechanically jointed vertical sliding window from Spectus. The new U-Value covers both their standard and mechanically jointed vertical slider range.

All vertical sliding products are manufactured by skilled and experienced operatives in Mercury’s state of the art manufacturing plant, guaranteeing a quality result every time. Customers also have the reassurance of Mercury’s commitment to a level of customer service that aims to build a long term relationship that helps make running a business easier.

Chris Reeks concludes, “We’ve built our name on supplying quality specialist products that add value to our customers’ businesses. The improved U-value achieved across our PVC-u vertical slider range is yet another example on how we continually deliver to ensure our customers have only the best.”
