Quickslide has reaffirmed its market leading status in the heritage sector with the Legacy VS, a next generation vertical slider designed to tap into increasing consumer demand for highly authentic, high-quality period style products.
The West Yorkshire based manufacturer worked closely with Spectus for the development of Legacy, which includes options for fully mechanical timber look butt joints or seamless Graf welds and a comprehensive palette of colours and foils. These include a total of 11 woodgrain foiled finishes, a bespoke colour matching service and options for decorative glazing.
With an ovolo shape to the frame, bead, sash and cill, Georgian bars, run-through sash horns with foiled end caps, a deep bottom rail, colour-matched wool-pile seals and flush gaskets, Legacy presents discerning homeowners with a window that raises the bar for period authenticity.
Kitemarked to BS EN 12608 and PAS 24 and Secured by Design accredited, Legacy can meet Band A Window Energy Ratings when glazed with 24mm IGUs.
Adrian Barraclough, Quickslide’s chairman, said: “We put all of our extensive design experience and market knowledge into the creation of Legacy, and the result is one of the finest vertical sliding box sash windows on the market.”
