REHAU has been named as one of the Top 20 most influential Twitter users in the double glazing market for the first time.
A new entry at number 19 in the list compiled by Greendeal Homes, REHAU has been recognised for how it uses its Twitter profile to enhance its brand, generate leads, educate the market and engage with the rest of the home improvement sector.
With almost 1800 followers, REHAU has been active on Twitter since the end of 2011 and was quick to recognise its potential as part of its social media activity.
Sarah Hitchings, the REHAU Product Manager who manages the Twitter feed, said: “We’ve always recognised the role that Twitter can play in influencing the market and it’s great that our efforts have been recognised.
“In terms of building our brand and interacting with other parts of the sector, Twitter is now an important element in how we promote REHAU and particularly in how we build contacts and relationships with architects and specifiers.
“As this most influential list acknowledges though, success is not just about how often you tweet or how many followers you have, but about how you engage with the market and tweet interesting and relevant content.
“We’re looking to build on what we’ve achieved so far and, just as importantly, encourage our customers to tap into the benefits which Twitter can offer.”
